Calling All Incentive Travel Planners…

We have something truly special for clients! (or those looking to book an unforgettable holiday). Silversea's newest addition to the fleet - the stunning 'Silver Dawn' - is their ultra-luxury ship that Sleek team member Nivi was invited onboard to experience. The journey began in the historic Italian city of Rome and they sailed to Monte Carlo on the French Riviera. Nivi enjoyed exploring four stops at stunning destinations across Europe whilst travelling in style (and noted some incredible opportunities for incentive travel planners). Here Nivi shares with us her personal top 5 highlights from the trip:

Observation Library

The Observation Library is situated at the very top of the ship. It is a tranquil space where you can select a novel and nose dive into the pages whilst also enjoying jaw-dropping views of the sea and landscape. I can’t forget to mention the welcome addition of a fully-stocked bar meaning you can enjoy your favourite cocktail whilst taking in the stunning scenes. For incentive travel planners; The Observation Library is also the perfect space for private company meetings, team bonding activities or even cheeky pre-dinner drinks (a perfect way to kick start the evening!).

S.A.L.T Lab

The Sea and Land Taste (S.A.L.T) interactive programme allows you to fully immerse yourself into the local culinary heritage, techniques and specialities through workshops and demonstrations (no need to worry, no fire extinguishers were used when I was cooking!). You are in the hands of passionate, patient chefs who really take their time explaining each technique and the importance of the selected ingredients. I even came out of the session thinking I could give Gordon Ramsey a run as the results were truly delicious! (I suppose I should pass some credit to the Silverseas Chef’s).

Pool Deck & Jacuzzi Area

Taking a dip at the vast Pool Deck and relaxing in the Jacuzzi area is definitely a must when you come onboard the Silver Dawn! Well, I wish I could say that I enjoyed a dip but I may or may not have left my swimming attire at home… big mistake! Still, catching some rays on the sunbed with a drink and snack from the Pool deck bar was just heavenly. Perfect for a relaxed day at sea enjoying some ‘me’ time.

Venetian Lounge

As the name implies, this is a breathtaking room filled with the magic of music and theatre every night! Cabaret-style seating with intimate tables and dimmed lighting create the perfect atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying the entertainment. Captivating shows that combine arts, theatre and music with stunning production techniques made me feel like I was transported to The West End for the evening! This is definitely a plus for incentive travel planners!

La Terrazza

For foodie lovers, there are eight-dining options to choose from! My favourite is the La Terrazza restaurant which presents authentic recipes with distinctive heritage. When you walk in, you are greeted with big smiles from staff and guidance to the interactive food stations. Indulge yourself in the mozzarella bar, seafood station, olive oil cellar, a salumeria and a fabulous selection of desserts! This is a truly exceptional culinary experience and one of the highlights of my time onboard.

Those are just a few of my highlights, there is so much more to be discovered onboard Silversea Cruises. To incentive travel planners and holiday makers, I would genuinely recommend the all-inclusive experience, from your private executive transfer door to door, personalised room service, on-board entertainment, spa & fitness facilities, daily activity timetable and complimentary shore excursions. If you are looking to have a company off-site or you would simply love to treat your employees to an unforgettable experience, this is a perfect choice! I’m giving my trip a personal rating of 11/10! Hopefully that will tell you everything you need to know.

A huge thank you to Paul Fallows for inviting me onboard for a wonderful few days spent sailing across Europe.
